The Real Techniques Brush Collections by Samantha Chapman have gone down a storm in the make up world and I have to admit I'm a bit late to the party with this brand. I have read many reviews and it appears that I have been missing out on something special. I have now arrived at the party with the Limited Edition Real Techniques Duo Fibre Collection. Each brush has been made using 2 synthetic fibres with the idea being that the user can create soft layers of product to ensure a pixel perfect flawless finish. The brushes are designed to be used with powder, liquid and cream formulations.
Duo Fibre Face Brush
This brush is designed for the application of all powder and pigment products. I found this perfect as a finishing powder and bronzer brush. It was perfect for building up the strength of the bronzer as the application is super light.
Duo Fibre Contour Brush
This brush is designed or applying contour products. I have been using it to apply my Bobbi Brown cream blusher and it is just perfect. It picks up a small amount of cream so there is no chance of getting the 'Aunt Sally' look and it blends to perfection.
Duo Fibre Eye Brush
This Brush is designed for applying eye products. I can see how this would make the perfect brush for blending in the crease, however, I have several of those brushes already, what I don't have is a concealer brush so I thought I would try this with my Estee Lauder Double Wear Cream Concealer under my eyes. Well it works like a dream, I don't know how I have managed all these years with just my finger as my weapon of choice. The finish achieved with this brush is far superior to the finish I've been getting with my finger.
I am so impressed by these brushes that I am now considering replacing some of my other brushes with ones from the Real Techniques range.
The Real Techniques Duo Fibre Collection is currently available from www.cloud10beauty.com for £27.99
