Elizabeth Grant Hydra Cell Active Skin Care is the latest range in this brand to be launched in the UK and it is exclusive to Ideal World TV Shopping Channel.
I was really excited to try these products as I am already familiar with Elizabeth Grant Skin Care and I have previously reviewed the Elizabeth Grant Biocollasis range
There is a fascinating story about how Elizabeth Grant started her own Skin Care range, Elizabeth suffered bomb damage to her face during the second world war and in 1948 she discovered Torricelumn, she had this formulated with other ingredients and began using it on her face, within 8 months her skin was completely transformed and she started her own Skin Care range in 1958.
I was sent the Hydra Cell Active Day & Night Cream, Hydra Cell Active Day & Night Eye Cream and Hydra Cell Active Intensive Hydra Treatment, all of the products contain the Elizabeth Grant Torricelumn Formulation.
Hydra Cell Active Day & Night Face Cream.
When I read on the jar that this was a day and night cream I was expecting a really rich cream that would be a tad heavy for day use. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this was not the case. This cream is lovely and light with a very faint 'fresh' aroma, it absorbs very quickly and leaves skin looking plump and glowing, my skin loves this product. It works very well on top of other skin care products and primer doesn't ball up on top of it.
Hydra Cell Active Intensive Hydra Treatment
This was my absolute favourite product from the range. During July I had some health problems which resulted in me going into hospital for surgery, the results of the general anaesthetic, pain relief and antibiotics meant that my skin was in a terrible state, it was so dry it was peeling and cracking and nothing I used was helping to ease it, This product literally brought my skin back to life, This is like a milky lotion/serum, you only need a small amount (even though the pipette is huge) I could practically feel my skin just sucking this product in, coupled with the day & night cream within a week my skin was back to feeling super hydrated and comfortable. As this is such a huge bottle I have been using it mixed with my hand cream at night as my hands have been really dry too and it has worked wonders. Love, love, love this product.
Hydra Cell Active Day & Night Eye Cream
The eye cream is quite a rich cream, much richer than the day & night cream so if you have dryness around your eyes you are going to love this. During the day I mix this with a little of my day time eye gel and use it on top of the Intensive Hydra Treatment at night. This really has helped to improve the crinkles on my eyelids and the the vertical sleep crease on my eyebrow. It leaves the whole eye area lovely and hydrated.
I really like this range, it is a premium skin care range that is results driven and successfully addresses all of the concerns of dehydrated skin.
