CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM
28 March 2016
So following on from my review of CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser I'm now going to share my thoughts on Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM.
It is a light serum/lotion, fragrance free and contains some great anti ageing ingredients, including Niacinamide and Hyularonic Acid it also contains time release Ceramides. I use this as my daytime moisturiser despite it being the PM version, the AM version has exactly the same ingredients but has an added SPF, I prefer to use a separate SPF so use the PM version.
Considering this is designed to be used at night it is a very light lotion that absorbs very quickly and does not leave a tacky feeling on the skin. Skin looks hydrated with a subtle glow and make up goes on beautifully.
This product does contain Parabens so if you are avoiding those then this isn't for you.
CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM is a great budget moisturiser considering you would usually pay a lot more for a product containing the anti ageing ingredients it has. It doesn't contain any antioxidants but you could use a serum underneath the moisturiser that contains antioxidants.
I have been using this moisturiser for the past 4 weeks and whilst I haven't seen any changes in the pigmentation marks, I have noticed that my skin does look a little smoother and a brighter.
This is perfect for you if you have dry skin and I've also read that it is good for people with sensitive skin and Rosacea
I purchased this for £9.99 for a 3oz (about 85ml) with pump from Amazon If you're heading to USA you can pick it up for about $12
What are your budget moisturiser recommendations?

I have been using the garnier moisture moisturizer as it's generally on sale for £2/3 in Asda and it works really well on my dry skin x
ReplyDeleteI quite like Garnier, good quality products.
DeleteI'm rubbish at recommending budget moisturisers, my current one is Clinique - definitely not budget! :)
ReplyDeleteNo definitely not budget but if it suits your skin stick with it.
DeleteMy skincare regime is terrible to be honest and I never think to use moisturisers with SPF .... you have certainly given me something to think about today.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Even if you don't use a moisturiser just use an SPF every day instead.
DeleteI need to improve my skincare routine because it is terrible! I like that it is budget too!
ReplyDeleteOnce you're in a routine it will be easy to maintain.
DeleteThis is super affordable. I love that. Will check this out.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely good value for money.
DeleteI am always scared to try new creams with my allergy issues but this seems a nice price to try. My neck is starting to look older than my face.
ReplyDeleteI use this on my neck to and around my eyes, have had no irritation at all.
DeleteThis is a good price and I do like built in spf. I'm using my partners loreal men face cream at the moment as mine ran out and he doesn't use it so thought I may as well get use out of it x
ReplyDeleteThat's the sort of thing I would do too :)
DeleteThis looks great - I don't use a moisturiser, I really should start. Thank you for sharing. Kaz x
ReplyDeleteEven if you don't use moisturiser just use Sunscreen instead.
DeleteAffordable moisturiser and the Spf feature makes it worth to try.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth a try but if you want the one with SPF you need to try the AM one:)
DeleteI have fairly oily skin so this probably wouldn't work for me but my partner struggles with dry skin so will bare this in mind - thanks so much for sharing
ReplyDeleteLaura x
They do a range for oily skin too :)
DeleteNot heard of this brand, but I like the pump action. I use a variety of Creams.
ReplyDeleteYes, for hygiene purposes I prefer products that have a pump too :)
DeleteI am terrible with my 'self-care' routine but I have been for a complimentary facial at Boots this morning and have found some products I really liked from Liz Earle so they are far from budget but I am very happy with them. In the past I have mainly used Avon or shops own brand but I am starting to feel like I need to take a little better care of myself.
