Bioderma Créaline H2O

I have been wanting to try this make-up remover for a long time.  Bloggers and make-up artists alike rave about it regarding it's ability to remove make-up effectively and efficiently whilst be kind and gentle to the skin.  It's not the easiest of products to obtain in the UK, it is very expensive to purchase in USA and super cheap to buy in France.

I found an ebay seller HERE  I paid £12.95 plus £3.30 delivery, the product was delivered within 2 days of ordering.

review of bioderma crealine h20

What they say ......

At the cutting edge of innovation, BIODERMA has pioneered micellar solutions. Specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins, SensibioH2O micelle solution gently cleanses face and eyes. It removes water-resistant make-up. The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance (soap-free, physiological pH).

Soothing and decongesting active ingredients prevent the feelings of irritation often caused by cleansing.

Sensibio H2O guarantees excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance (tested under ophthalmological supervision).

Sensibio H2O is an ultra-mild cleansing formula, use it with the utmost care.
Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O and cleanse the face and eyes and/or remove any make-up.
Repeat the application until the cotton pad remains clean.

Sensibio H2O needs no rinsing, but it is essential to dry your skin. Dry gently. Dab your face with a clean cotton towel.

Sensibio H2O can be used daily, morning and evening.

What I say ......

It has no fragrance and actually just looks like a bottle of water.  This product really does remove every last trace of make-up, even the most stubborn, waterproof mascara.  There is no irritation to skin or eyes and skin does not feel tight or dry after use.

My only gripe with this product is the amount of cotton wool pads that are used.  to completely remove every last trace of make up I can easily get through 6 - 8 pads.

I would definitely recommend this product and at £12.95 for 500ml the price is excellent.  If you or someone you know is going to France then pick it up there where it retails for about 5 Euros.

  1. Great review, I'm always looking for effective make up removes. Would you say that you have to use a lot to get off every trace of makeup? Just with it being watery? Thanks x

  2. Hi Cat, no you don't use lots of product, just lots of pads to remove it. If you look at the picture you can see how much I have used by using it every day for about a week. Jude x

  6. This sounds great! Except for using so many cotton pads.

Have you tried putting a bit more of product on the cotton pad, and just resting it on your eyelid for a few seconds to break down the makeup? That method should use less.

  7. Hi Vintage Makeup, yes I have tried that, it's just that the product is so effective at removing make-up it just keeps coming off, hence the need for frequent fresh pads :) Jude xx

  13. Hi Hayley, I have to say that Bioderma is very gentle and very effective at removing make, there is no rubbing and no stinging, it really is one of the best products for removing eye makeup. My other favourite product is Gatineau Floricil, it is a bit more expensive but you can get a good deal here http://www.feelunique.com/brands/gatineau/face-care Jude xx
