Veet Face Precision Wax and Care system is so simple yet perfect for those little waxing jobs that don't require a salon sized wax heater.
The pack contains what looks like a double ended mascara wand that unscrews in the middle.
The pink tube contains 10ml of wax and the white tube contains 5ml of after care cream.
You also get a packet of a 50 wax strips and and applicator.
The instructions are so simple, just boil the kettle!
Now I have tried all types of hair removal over the years, tweezing, threading, depilatory cream, sugaring and hot and cold waxing. I definitely prefer the hot/warm wax method. I know it's not painless but it's quick and effective. Last year I reviewed the Veet Easy Wax Electrical roll-on Kit and I'm still using that system today. The Veet Face Precision Care and Wax is a perfection addition to this as it is designed to be used on eyebrows, upper lip and chin area.
After being immersed in boiling water for one minute the wax is ready to use. It applies easily and the applicator can be used at this point to spread the wax into a thin even layer. Apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth and then use the strips provided to whip it off in the opposite direction. If you have never used wax before then start of with a small area. Please try not to go over the same area more than once as this can cause irritation. The soothing after care cream is lovely and cooling. I have used this wax on my eyebrows and upper lip and and had the kind of results that I would expect if I went to a salon. During the treatment I popped the wax back into the cup of hot water so that it stayed at an optimum temperature.
The wax contains natural ingredients including Almond Oil to help moisturise and nourish the skin. The after care cream contains Aloe Vera to soothe and moisturise.
This little kit is perfect for taking on holiday to keep you hair growth in check. All you need is a cup of hot water.
Veet Face Precision Wax and Care retails for £9.99 and can be found at Boots, Superdrug and most major supermarkets.

This looks really good. I am currently sporting a very nasty, may yet need medical intervention, chemical burn in an "intimate" area following a run in with some hair removal cream yesterday evening so it's back to waxing and shaving for me. Top lip and chin require a lot of tidying up so going to check out your earlier post too on the other waxing kit. And now I sound like a yeti!! x
ReplyDeleteHi Debs, honestly these are fab, I took the electric one with me to Florida last year as I also had a scary encounter with a hair removal cream in the same area! This little one for the face is as a good as my salon wax machine, no mess, no stickiness and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I usually go on holiday for 3 weeks so I know that I need to take along something to tidy up any stragglers and this is perfect. Totally recommend it. I hope the burn starts to heal soon, I know how painful they can be. Jude xx
DeleteAm going to definitely give it a whirl - have previously been shaving top lip but am noticing after over a year of doing so that my skin is looking a bit coarse so am kicking that into touch. Thanks re the burn, not my best look ever!!

Hello Jude!
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by from the #Bbloggers blog hop, I'm now following you via GFC and Bloglovin. I love your blog name. I've only ever tried waxing once in my life and that was enough for me, it's hard enough getting my eyebrows done, I'm such a wimp! :)

Hi Fiona, thank you for the follow (I have followed back) and thank you for leaving a comment. I think this little kit will give you a bit of confidence in waxing your own eyebrows, just wax a little bit at a time and if you lose your nerve you can always wash this wax off. I find eyebrow waxing the least painful, I hate having my legs waxed, especially the backs of the legs and the ankles. Jude xx
DeleteWow.It looks great, but I hope it smells okay.
ReplyDeleteBeacuse I have tried many and I feel most veet products don't smell that great.
Hi Reah, thank you for your comment. I can assure you that this product doesn't smell anything like the veet hair removal creams, in fact it doesn't really have a scent. I cannot stand the smell of hair removal creams as they have a terrible habit of lingering around for hours after use. Jude x
