Clarins New Colour Breeze Spring Make-up Collection Part 1

Welcome to Clarins New Colour Breeze Spring make-up Collection.  A combination of delicate colours to enhance and illuminate your complexion.

Ever Matte Foundation with SPF 15 is described as a light weight skin perfecting fluid foundation.  It contains a blend of minerals and plant extracts to deliver all day protection against shine, with a long lasting natural finish.

The foundation comes in 10 shade choices from Ivory through to Chestnut.

I was sent 110 Honey to try, it is a tad too dark for me at this time of year, but will be perfect for the summer months.  The foundation is light but gives a good medium coverage that lasts all day.  It lives up to it's Ever Matte claim and this is due to the Tanaka Powder, which acts like a sponge and absorbs excess sebum.  Although this is a matte foundation it does have a special light-optimising pigment complex and this gives the skin a radiant glow.  The foundation has a gorgeous melon like fragrance.

Available February 2012 30ml £24

Ever Matte Mineral Powder Compact is a shine stopper powder that can be applied throughout the day without build up.  The powder comes in a beautiful pale gold compact, it has a decent sized mirror and it's own sponge.

The powder is available in 4 colour choices 00 Transparent Opal, 01 Transparent Fair, 02 Transparent Medium and 03 Transparent Dark.  I was sent the Transparent Fair and it was the perfect colour match for me.

As you can see from the photograph, the powder is made up of 4 blocks of colour, in real life there is only the slightest difference between all of the colours.  It applies perfectly with no ashy residue and most importantly for me it does not settle in my fine lines and wrinkles.

Available February 2012 £25

Limited Edition Colour Breeze Face & Blush Palette is such a cute palette.  Three shades of skin enhancing blush are embossed into the powder, they can be used alone or mixed together.  When mixed together they make a beautiful skin highlighter.

I found that there was not quite enough colour to use as a stand alone blush, but used over the top of my usual blusher I ended up with a gorgeous subtle sheen.

As you can see this comes in the pale gold compact and again has a decent sized mirror.

Available February 2012 £30

  1. Like their products and their color choices just suit me and the skin tone I wear.I also think their quality is fairly good for long term use...though I prefer mineral makeup for better protection.
